APG Meetings
Speaking of Photography
This lively evening of discussion is led by Chip Simone, well known Atlanta photographer who has been making creative photographs for over forty years. Chip is known for his excellent work and his opinions on photography. Any time spent with him leads to a very interesting discussion. His book "On Common Ground" – published in 1996 – challenges the traditional view of the region and offers a fresh look at the New South.
Through this series, we will continually seek to answer the question, "What is it that makes photography a unique art form?"
Be prepared for a lively and engaging evening unmatched anywhere else in Atlanta. Take the opportunity to voice your opinions, or simply sit back and watch the fireworks. This evening is all about controversy and discussion. Strong opinions are encouraged, shouting matches are not welcome.
Every third (3rd) Wednesday of the month, until Chip runs out of opinions. See you there!
