Push Pin 2000

February 11 – February 26, 2000
Opening February 11, 2000, 7:30 p.m.

This annual event opens the APG Gallery to all local photographers.

Professional and amateur photographers are invited to bring their work to the gallery for display through the month of February. Photographers are encouraged to bring their favorite images, or works in progress.

The Push Pin show takes its name from the fact that all photographs are attached to the wall with push pins. Mats and frames are not required. In fact, they are discouraged.

Pin-up art: Push Pin Show focuses on photography
by Felicia Feaster, Creative Loafing, 2/12/00

"Since its inception in 1986, the Atlanta Photography Group has lived up to its mission to support and solidify the esprit de corps of the ever growing ranks of local photographers and promote the once challenged artistic merit of photography. To that end, its yearly Push Pin Show is an opportunity for both amateur and professional photographers to pin their artistic forays to APG's wall in this Valentine's Day event for photography and the people who love it.
