Additional goals include:

The Atlanta Photography Group is accessible to all impaired and challenged citizens. Normal hours are Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.

Activities and Support

The Atlanta Photography Group serves a wide range of photographic interests. Through gallery exhibitions, special event presentations, and other activities, it supports and promotes the photographic arts to the general public.

The Atlanta Photography Group is supported in part by a number of federal, state, regional, and local granting agencies and foundations. The single largest source of money to support APG programming and services is its own members.

APG has grown to over 500 dues paying members who also volunteer their time to the various activities and programs of the group

Governance

APG is governed by a Board of Directors, an Advisory Board consisting of people at large from the regional photographic community, and a Curatorial Panel led by a facilitator with positions on both boards open to anyone. The Curatorial Panel is chosen by the Board of Directors and consists of photographic artists, educators, and Collectors who review submissions and choose the direction of all APG exhibitions.

The Atlanta Photography Group is an artist-initiated 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization.
